Two ticks, three boxes

I recently had the chance to judge an awards show, and what surprised me was that most of the work I saw was ‘two out of three’. They had some of the right ingredients but not all. Like a day at the footy without a pie. It was good work, just not as good as you wanted it to be. And I wondered why? There’s the

This morning, I was up bright and early to attend the R U OK? breakfast event at Gloria Jean’s in the Melbourne CBD. The event marked the third national day of action to prevent and reduce Australia’s high suicide rate. An estimated 3 million Australians will stop to ask three little words today that could make a big difference to someone’s life.
Shaken, not stirred

Ten years ago I rocked up to the gym at 6 a.m. (yes, there was a time I used to go to the gym) and I was confronted with images on the morning news that looked more like a clip from an upcoming Steven Spielberg blockbuster than anything real.
